The Met office has issued a Weather Warning covering our area, for Storm Dave which will bring very strong winds between 5pm on Saturday and 7am on Easter Sunday. As a result tonight's Cristal Palace event in Southport has been cancelled for safety reasons.

Past events

In November 2024, the Council, with partners Sefton Opera and Sefton Carers Centre hosted two Keep Warm Keep Well events for those over 50 as part of its commitment to helping vulnerable people get through winter.

Over 180 people attended these events and offered free and confidential advice from Council services and partners, alongside blood pressure checks, chair-based exercise sessions, and free goody bags.
