Net Zero Week – Saturday 4 July to Friday 10 July 2026

The UK's biggest Net Zero conference is the highlight of a week dedicated to Net Zero initiatives. Net Zero Week is the nation's national awareness week and has been going since 2001.

Past events

In November 2025, the Council, with partners Sefton OPERA and Sefton Carers Centre, hosted two Keep Warm Keep Well events for those over 50 as part of its commitment to helping vulnerable people get through winter.

Hundreds of people attended these events and were offered free and confidential advice from Council services and partners, alongside blood pressure checks, chair-based exercise sessions, and free goody bags.
