We aim to provide a quicker, more predictable and efficient planning service. As part of our service improvements we have prepared an updated Planning Validation Checklist. The checklist has been produced to help users of our Planning Service to be clear on what needs to accompany applications for planning permission or other similar consents.
The Council have recently reviewed the Local Validation Checklist (dated July 2019) and have determined that no changes are currently necessary. The Local Validation Checklist has therefore been re-published (from 1st July 2021) and shall apply to all applications. Please note, due to recent changes in the way viability reports should be published by the Council, this section has been updated to avoid any confusion. The specific requirements, however, have not changed.
