The redevelopment of the Strand will be the start of growing a more varied and sustainable town centre. A town centre that provides improved opportunities for local communities, residents and businesses. It will increase pride, raise ambition and improve perceptions of Bootle town centre to those outside it.
Our plans include a new look for Mons Square, accessible and open outdoor community spaces, and a new lease of life for the former M&S building.

You can also find out more about the Town Centre Transformation Project in our information hub, called The Bootle Hive, located opposite The Coffee House in the Strand. The Hive is open at certain times throughout the year for different events and activities.
