Sefton is a national pioneer area for the development of neighbourhood health, a key priority of the Governments 10 year health plan.
Sefton has been split into eight neighbourhood areas, four located in the north and four in the south. The neighbourhoods are: Ainsdale, Bootle, Central Southport, Crosby, Formby, Maghull, North Southport and Seaforth & Litherland.
Below are profiles for each neighbourhood. These profiles include demographic, social and public health information to support the identification of local needs and inequalities.
