To apply you must complete the Council's application form in full. CV's will not be considered unless specified in the job advertisement. Please ensure you read the Guidance Notes prior to and in conjunction with completing the Application Form. You must submit your completed application form before the closing date, as any applications received after the closing date will not be considered.
If you are unable to complete an on-line application you can submit a paper application form. Please be aware that by signing the declaration on the paper form you are agreeing to your details being uploaded onto the Council’s applicant tracking system.
By submitting your application form, you declare that the information given is to the best of your knowledge correct. If you submit your application electronically, you are deemed to have signed it, verifying the correctness of its content.

Disability Confident Scheme
The Council is a Disability Confident Employer which means that it is committed to removing barriers for disabled people and those with long term health conditions in employment. As part of this scheme candidates are able to apply for all non-schools vacancies under a guaranteed interview scheme, whereby if you meet all essential criteria of the role as detailed in the person specification, you will automatically be shortlisted for interview.
