Information for Parents and Carers

The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme was designed to support children during the school holidays to eat more healthily, be more active and have a greater knowledge of health and nutrition. In Sefton we are working with a range of schools, charities, community organisations and sports providers to provide free holiday provision.
The programme runs for 1 week during the Easter and Christmas holidays and for 4 weeks during the summer.
Is my child eligible?
Any child aged 5-16 years (including 4-year-olds if in reception) who are eligible for and receiving benefit related free school meals can take part in the HAF programme.

How do we access the programme?

If your child is eligible and would like to take part in the programme please contact your school to find out if they are offering a HAF holiday camp or use the email below to find out what is happening in your area.
