Litherland Sports Park, with it's wide range of facilities and activities which are open to a range of ages and abilities, plays a major role in benefiting the local community. The Centre has played host to athletes striving for excellence in their sport and we were even chosen as one of the designated training camps for the 2012 Olympic Games.
Since Monday 16th August, we have not been enforcing social distancing and bookings are no longer be needed for regular gym or pool sessions. We have relaxed circulation routes around facilities, although some one-way systems may still remain. In addition, changing rooms, sauna and steam rooms are open and capacity for fitness classes (which still need to booked as normal) have been increased.
To continue to protect our staff and customers we will still be:
- recommending visitors wear face masks;
- keeping in place the increased cleaning schedules;
- making hand sanitiser available:
- recording track and trace details for casual users.
All members will be asked to swipe in when using the facilities.
We would like to thank everyone for their support and understanding over the previous months and we look forward to returning to a more normal operation.
