Residents in Sefton over age 60 are invited to book their place on a free road safety event in Ainsdale Methodist Church on Wednesday 8th October from 10am to 3pm, providing practical advice and resources to help all road users stay safe and confident.

Benefits of the Road Safety session
The relaxed and friendly session will provide updates on changes to the highway code and what it means to you, guidance on vision, eyesight and mobility, and a chance to ask questions and connect with professionals to give you the information you need.

The event offers a chance to enjoy a brew and a chat with local like-minded people and experienced professionals, and to get the information and reassurance to keep it safe when using the roads.

The event has been organised by Sefton Council with Merseyside Road Safety Partnership which works to make the roads a safer environment for everyone through road safety campaigns, providing resources and initiatives, and events like this to support road users.

How to book
To book your free place at Ainsdale Methodist Church, Liverpool Road, PR8 3NQ on Wednesday 8th October from 10am to 3pm, please email road.safety@sefton.gov.uk
