Active Sefton are inviting local runners, walkers, friends and colleagues to lace up their trainers and join the annual Crosby 5K on Thursday 17th July.  

The race starts at 6pm from Crosby Lakeside. 

Suitable for All Fitness Levels 

This fun, social event is perfect for all fitness levels, whether you want to push for a personal best or simply enjoy an evening stroll along Sefton’s stunning coastline. The 5km route takes participants twice around the scenic path of Crosby Marina. 

Discounted entry for Active Workforce Members  

Entry is just £10 and every participant will receive a medal to mark their achievement. There will also be trophies for the fastest male and female finishers. Employees from organisations that contribute to the Active Workforce Programme can benefit from discounted entry of £5. 

Post-race celebrations  

After crossing the finish line, participants can unwind at the Lake House, which will be open for post-race drinks and celebrations. Plus, Mersea Sauna will be offering 15-minute sauna and cold plunge slots from 6:30pm onwards, the perfect way to aid recovery (booking required). 

So gather your friends and colleagues, dust off those trainers and enjoy a fantastic community event this July!
