Our Home Visits Library Service is for less mobile members of the Sefton community, who may be unable to get to a local library.
Books and 'talking' books (on CD) are delivered to you in your own home. You do not have to be completely housebound but you might, for instance, have difficulty walking, making use of public transport, or carrying books.
We deliver and collect the books on a rota basis, generally once a month. There is no charge for the service - it is completely free.
We can supply you with books, old and new - many books are also available in large print.
We operate the Home Visits service as a partnership between Sefton Libraries and volunteers in the local community, including the Royal Voluntary Service (RVS).
