Most schools across Sefton have individually continued to open for vulnerable pupils and the children of Key Workers.
As each school is now catering for a very small number of children, Kings Meadow Primary School, Farnborough Rd Infant/Junior School, Ainsdale St. Johns Primary School and Shoreside Primary School have decided to join. If your child currently attends any of these schools, please see opening times and dates below:
From next week beginning 30/03/20 essential childcare will be provided between 8.50-3.20pm
Week beginning 30.03.20: Kings Meadow Primary School
Week beginning 06.04.20 inc. Good Friday: Farnborough Road Infant & Junior Schools
Week beginning 13.04.20 inc. Easter Monday: Ainsdale St. John’s Primary School
Week beginning 20.04.20: Shoreside Primary School
Each school will operate a childcare service during their nominated week. This will be run by their own teachers and teaching assistants. Responsibility for your child during each week will fall to the individual school’s headteacher and staff. All queries should be directed to them. Each operating school will provide you with a list of key contacts and specific information in relation to their school staff and site the first time your child attends. Your child’s usual school will be shut during the weeks they are not operating which will allow for essential deep cleaning to take place.
In order to access the Local Schools Hub Provision, you are required to complete a full registration form for your child/ren here.
Each school will continue to operate a meal service so if your child usually has a school meal this can still be provided. If you pay for KS2 school meals, please directly pay the Hub school £2.10 for every day your child will be in. It is fine for you to do this on a daily basis as we appreciate, as the current situation develops, your working pattern / childcare needs may change throughout each week.
Each week your child’s school will contact you directly to check your childcare needs for the following week.
