On this page you will find vital housing advice and support for young people in Sefton.
There comes a point in every young person’s life where you want to flee the nest and live in your own home, for others there isn’t really a choice, they have to find a place to live as soon as they reach 18 years of age, whether leaving their family or leaving care.
If you’re 18 or over and are thinking about where you are going to live, get in touch with the Housing Options Team at Sefton Council. You can call them on 0151 934 3541, Monday-Thursday, 10am – 4pm and Friday 10am-3pm.
If you live in Southport, contact Southport Housing Advice Centre on 01704 501 256, Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm.
If you think you are going to be homeless in the next 28 days, you should contact them immediately. You can contact the service on evenings, weekends and bank holidays on 0151 934 3555.
They will also advise you on a wide range of issues, such as paying your rent or mortgage; your rights as a tenant and those of your landlord; how to address problems you have with your landlord and the housing register.
