King's Gardens in Southport

King’s Gardens an historic park on Southport Promenade has been restored to its former glory, the £5million restoration project was completed in 2014. The park improvements included historic features and buildings being  restored, extensive landscaping work to open up views , improved accessibility in and around the gardens and a new play area. The park is on the register of Parks and Gardens (Grade II) in recognition of its special historic interest.

Gardening Sessions

Monday and Wednesday 1.30-3.00, meet at the Arts and Crafts Shelter (opposite the play area) if you are interested you can turn up on the day and the volunteers will make you very welcome.
