Cycling is the perfect way to explore Sefton and West Lancashire so why not hire a bike and take the opportunity to visit the many wonderful places in and around the area?
Now in our 14th year of operation, our hire centre is managed in conjunction with Hourbike Ltd and is based in the Eco Centre, Esplanade, Southport. The centre holds a selection of different bikes and provides bikes for all the family.
We also do group hire so if you are holding an event and would like to hire some bikes, please complete our contact form.
Many of the area's landmarks are included in themed cycle routes, ideal for families and less experienced cyclists. There are now 14 themed routes for you to choose from ranging from 3 to 10 miles. The routes have been carefully selected, are well sign posted and are mostly off-road. The routes are available to download from our themed cycle routes page or flyers can be collected at our cycle hire centre and tourist information offices.
