Sefton Council has recently launched a Market Position Statement.
This describes what the future demand for adult social care and support is likely to be, the current provision from Public, Private and Community, Voluntary, Faith and Social Enterprise Sector providers, future levels of funding, and the ideal models that Sefton Council will support and encourage.
It aims to identify gaps in social care and support provision and to help social care providers - both existing and potential - develop their business plans so that they are better positioned to provide services to our residents in the future, whether those services are funded by the Council or not.
The document recognises that it does not address all these areas fully as we have gaps in our understanding of the market that we will seek to address in future revisions. You can view a copy of the Market Position Statement on the link below.
You can find full details of what is currently available in your local community through The Sefton Directory.
