Do you own or have an interest in any land that could be suitable for new housing, or self-build housing plots?
Sefton is currently updating its housing land study and preparing a brownfield register for all suitable housing sites, and is asking for sites to be submitted for consideration.
To submit a site, please complete the ‘Call for Sites’ form. You will also need to provide a site plan with the site boundary outlined in red.
The Council are looking for sites with a minimum area of 0.25 hectares or able to accommodate 5 or more dwellings. The form can be found below.
Details of potential sites should be submitted by midnight on Friday 3rd August 2018.
Return your completed form to email@example.com or by post to Local Plans team, Planning Services, Magdalen House, 30 Trinity Road, Bootle, L20 3NJ.
Submitting a site to the ‘Call for Housing Sites’ is not the same as a planning application. Sites will be assessed for their suitability for housing, and a site assessment form will be produced.
Full planning permission would still be required before development could take place.
In addition, the submission of a site does not guarantee that the Council will support its development in the future.
Please indicate if you would wish any information you submit should be treated as confidential. The site location, red line and whether there is an intention to develop will need to be made public if they are to be included in either the Housing Supply Study or the Brownfield Register.
