Shared lives schemes are designed to work with adults who have care and support needs who find it hard to live alone. Adults with mental health problems, learning disabilities or other care needs can use this service.
In Sefton, the shared lives scheme ffers an alternative and flexible type of accommodation, care and support for vulnerable adults. Our carer’s are individuals or couples living in the local community and fully trained by New Directions.
