The new Care Act 2014, which came into force on 1st April 2015, introduced a number of reforms that primarily impact existing and new care users, their carers and families. It has helped make care and support more consistent across the country.
The new national changes are designed to put people in control of the help they receive.
Anyone currently receiving care, or supporting an adult family member or friend as an unpaid carer, could be affected by the national changes introduced by the Care Act.
If you would like to give any feedback on the changes to care and support, which came into force on 1 April 2015, we'd like to hear from you.
