Library services

Sefton Libraries continues to work towards making its services accessible to everyone. All libraries have level entrances or ramps, with handrails. See what other facilities we offer on your local library pages.

Sefton's libraries offer a number of services that enable people who are visually or hearing impaired to enjoy reading, gain access to People's Network computers, and make more use of libraries.

Sefton currently operates a reading group for visually impaired adults (VIPs), at Formby Library. The VIPs read books on CD and tape and then meet at the library to exchange their views.
