ENSOU Expressive Arts Therapy Workshops for counsellors in training and practice

ENSOU Expressive Arts Therapy Workshops for counsellors in training and practice provide a unique therapeutic space for personal development, using a variety of creative media and practices. With self care in mind these workshops encourage exploration, expression and connection at a level comfortable to need. All are welcome, regardless of artistic ability.

In these workshops we use pastels, music, clay, writing, guided visualisation, movement and collage to find expression in familiar and unfamiliar ways.

Sessions held at Woodvale Community Centre, run from 10am – 4pm and include a certificate of attendance for 5 hours continued personal development. To find out more or to book your place please visit https://www.ensou.co.uk/

Lyiate Scouts Car Boot sale

A friendly Car Boot Sale organised and run by the 1st Lydiate Scout Group with all proceeds towards the promotion of scouting in Lydiate and beyond.
Our sale is located outdoors on the field, but we have indoor heated facilities including a cafe selling hot and cold snacks and drinks and proper toilets
We have space for up to 90 sellers.

Times:
Sellers arrive from 6am
Buyers arrive from 6am
Finish approx. 12pm

Charges:
£7 per car
£10 per large van or trailer
Buyers: 50p per person. Under 18s free

Free car parking on our field (please do not park on the road)
Disabled parking
No booking necessary
Bring your own table
Sales of alcohol, tobacco, fresh meat and counterfeit goods not permitted

But The People’s Theatre Company do!
And now you can too with this brand spanking new pantomime based on one of the world’s best loved nursery rhymes!
This magical show has been written especially for grown ups to enjoy with their children, so come and relive the delights of this most mesmerising of tales complete with the traditional feast of games, giggles and sing along songs.
Is it the perfect treat for anyone aged 2 to 102? Oh yes it is!
The songs in the show including If You’re Happy and You know It, Incy Wincy Spider and many more are available to sing along to on The People’s Theatre Company’s website at www.ptc.org.uk so why not have a listen and join in when you visit the theatre!

Tea Dance

An afternoon of live entertainment provided by Sefton Opera (Sefton Older Persons Enabling Resource & Action) featuring Elvis, music from bands Memory Lane and Remember When and a variety of jaw-dropping dance routines from The Bootle Belles, aimed at the over 50s, with plenty of chance to get up and dance too!
Tea Dances are held once a month in The Atkinson’s Studio.

Major Tonic is looking for choir members of all ages, from all walks of life, and from all areas of Merseyside. Any adult (18+) is welcome to join – whatever your age or experience.

There are NO auditions.
No experience is needed.
You don't have to read music.

Major Tonic is a new choir. A new concept. A new beginning.

Our first meeting will be on Tuesday afternoon the 19th February 2019 from 1. 30pm to 3pm at Birchdale Road Methodist Church, 2A Birchdale Road, Waterloo, L22 9QX.

This is a mixed choir.
We will start with unison songs, and build up to harmony, according to the members in the choir.
We will sing in different styles, from pop and rock to classical, from film and television to musical theatre, also with new music composed by the best modern composers.
