These friendly, informal events are free to attend so come along to meet the team, find out more about the support available to you and hear inspirational stories from other Sefton residents who have started their own business.

Venues

Organised in partnership with Merseyside Expanding Horizons and Safe Regeneration,  the events will be at:

  • 30 West St, Southport, 12 noon to 2pm on Wednesday 20th March.

  • Lock & Quay, 2 Irlam Rd, Bootle, 5pm to 7pm on Tuesday 26th March.

First step to being your own boss

Cllr Christine Howard, Sefton Council’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Skills said: “People often tell us they want to start their own business but often they do not have enough information or are unsure of the process.

“These events are designed to answer some of these questions and provide those prospective business owners with tips and advice to help them negotiate the process successfully.

“So, if that sounds like you, book you free place now and take the first step to being your own boss.”

Book a place

Both events are free to attend. Anyone wanting to attend  can book a place by emailing investsefton@sefton.gov.uk or calling 0151 934 3452.
