Sefton Council has joined its neighbours in the Liverpool City Region to encourage local residents to go online and enjoy the benefits of using the internet.

Digital inclusion

Part of the city region's Digital Inclusion Network, SeftOnline is the council's digital accessibility portal, with online support and advice for those of all abilities using the internet.

Visitors to the portal can find opportunities to learn new digital skills, stay safe online, discover free computer and internet access at your local library and more besides.

Confidence and ability

Cllr Paulette Lappin, Cabinet Member for Regulatory, Compliance and Corporate Services, said: "Our vision for 2030 will see a confident, connected borough where its communities are ready for the future - the confidence and ability of residents to use the internet safely is vital to these aims.

"We live in an increasingly digital world. Our Digital Inclusion Strategy sets out how Sefton Council will ensure the benefits of using the internet are available to everyone, now and in the future. The strategy can be found at SeftOnline - please read it.

"Please also recommend SeftOnline to anyone you know who may not be confident using the internet - there is a wealth of information, advice and support available in its pages"
