Don't ignore the threat

Cllr Christine Howard, Sefton Council’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Skills said: “Whatever their size, companies cannot afford to ignore the threat posed by cyber-attack, which could literally and very quickly put them out of business.

“As was reported last year, the Council fends off around 30,000 attempted cyber-attacks each month and puts a lot of resources and effort into preventing what could be a crippling security breach affecting a wide range of services.

“I would recommend that any Sefton businesses to book a place right away to protect themselves.”
