Now the timing is right for a return to form from the Dartmoor based couple.

Two of the British folk scenes most accomplished performers, Kathryn and Sean have graced stages the world over in a number of guises, however, the intimacy and strength of passion shown as a duo, combined with an eclectic repertoire ensures a rare treat for any listener.

Salsa Classes

Salsa class, @ Ferndale lodge, Crosby road north, Waterloo.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS is danced to the beautiful, lucid and flowing music of Mozart, played live – the two movements of an unfinished piano sonata, Opus K533.

LACHRYMAE set to the compassionate and tender music of Benjamin Britten for viola and piano, played live, spins emotional variations on a gentle song by John Dowland – quietly but deeply moving.

There is definitely Americana roots and country in the show but the overall sound is a dirty bluesy one. They are all my original tunes and Jason is off the charts as a guitar player. I think it may possibly blow people's minds.” Romi, on her new live show

If Keith Richards, Joan Jett and Ray Charles could somehow spawn a love child, it’d be Romi Mayes (suitably pronounced RAW-ME). Hailing from Winnipeg, Canada, and renowned as one of the hardest working independent musicians touring the globe today, Mayes has chipped away at the rock and roll stone over the past couple of decades, and now, this Juno nominated, CFMA nominated, four time WCMA award winner, has done it again.

Craft Fair

FREE ENTRY,

Two very different shows for the price of one.

After an unhinged heckle on opening night in San Francisco, Monkey Poet resorts to beer. Then the evening gets odder when Dylan Thomas buys him a drink and takes him to a party...

Vividly bringing to life Homer, Shelley, Shakespeare, Burns, Byron, Bukowski, Oscar Wilde, Dorothy Parker, Ginsberg and Gil Scott Heron, Murder Mystery is fast paced and funny as hell.

Monkey Poet then morphs into a radical stand up for the second act dealing with democracy, religion, homo and xeno phobia's, and the terrifying day Dad took the stabilisers off the bike.

Ruby Flew Too

Adapted from the wonderful, heart-warming story by Jonathan Emmett with beautiful illustrations by Rebecca Harry, Topsy Turvy Theatre effortlessly brings to life the tale of a little duckling struggling to find her feet.

Join us on an adventure we can all relate to - growing up! The smallest of her brothers and sisters, Ruby was the last to hatch, the last to eat and the last to swim.

Using live theatre, stunning scenery, beautiful handmade puppets and original music, our talented and experienced performers tell the story of how Ruby grew up... in her own time.

Topsy Turvy is high energy, fast paced and visually captivating theatre. Instead of passively watching, our audiences are invited to take us by the hand and join us on our adventure as we tell the story of Ruby.
