Express Sefton!
What is Express
Sefton! all about?
Now that Liverpool is European Capital of Culture 2008,
communities across Merseyside will have the unique opportunity to
come together and participate in many different forms of cultural
activities and events. Culture is not just about the finer things
in life such as going to art galleries, the theatre or the opera,
it’s about our way of life including our pastimes, traditions and
heritage.
To help the people of Sefton become involved in 2008, a whole
series of initiatives have been developed to encourage you to
celebrate and define Sefton’s own cultural identity. As a
result, Express Sefton! has been developed to help local residents
across the borough express what Sefton means to them and provides
the opportunity for you to participate in, learn about and even
develop your own cultural projects about the borough. Read all
about who has received a grant on the projects page, from the link
