Temporary library now open
A temporary library has now opened on Tulketh Street while the
Lord Street library is refurbished.
The temporary library is located in the Southport Visiter
offices, and the entrance to the library is down the right-hand
side of the building.
The library has lending fiction, non-fiction books and spoken
word CD's. There are also DVD's for weekly hire at £1.80 per
week.
The library has 14 free public access computers, which members
of the public can book in advance.
There is also a more spacious Children's Library.
The opening hours of the library are:

During the period of refurbishment, the Local History Service
will operate from Formby Library.
