  • Nearest rail station: Waterloo
  • Local buses stop near the library
  • Parking at the side of the library in the large Civic Hall car park, which includes spaces for people with disabilities (access from Haigh Road and Park Road); also behind the library in a small car park (access from Park Road)
  • Cycle rack
  • Automatic entrance doors (to Library/Civic Hall foyer)
  • The library is on two levels with ground-floor access; there are stairs and a lift to the 1st floor

  • Books – standard print and large print, plus talking books on tape and CD. All books are free for you to borrow. Borrowers with a junior library ticket can also take advantage of free reservations.

  • Reference, information and local/family history specialist services (1st floor)
  • Lifelong learning opportunities, including adult and community learning classes. The Connect Learning Centre (1st floor) offers Learndirect, European Computer Driving Licence and other courses
