Entry to employment
Any young person who goes on
E2E
will have to discuss their needs
with a Personal Adviser. A Personal Action Plan is developed and
this will make sure that you get the right type of training to
prepare for the world of work.
E2E can mean that you get involved in a wide range of activities
from:
- Group learning
- Help with basic and key skills which are important to
employers
- Vocational skills
- Personal and social development
- Practical projects
- Sports activities
- Community activities
- Outward bound or Residential events
- Skills training
- Job tasters
- Work placements
It will really depend on you as an individual and what your
personal needs are.
You will also get help with travel expenses so that you are not
out of pocket and young parents can also get help with childcare
costs.
E2E is designed to help you get ready to move onto other
opportunities i.e. Apprenticeships, Further Education or
employment.
