Food related licences
Food Business Registration
If you run a food business for 5 or more days - whether
consecutive or not - in any 5 consecutive weeks you must
register any premises you use for storing, selling,
distributing or preparing food.
Food premises include restaurants, hotels, guest houses,
delivery vehicles, market and other stalls, hot dog and ice cream
vans etc.
If you are starting up a new business, even if you have taken
over an existing food premise, then you must register at least 28
days prior to opening.

The Licensing
Act 2003 amalgamated six existing licensing regimes and
replaced them with a single system of premises
licences.
Further information on this topic can be found on the Licensing Act 2003 information page.
Dealing in Game
This legislation was repealed on 1st August 2007 via
the Regulatory
Reform (Game) Order 2007.
From that date the requirement that any person, who wished to
deal in game (e.g. venison, rabbits) from premises, had to obtain a
licence from us was removed.
