Botanic Gardens Southport
Botanic Gardens is aptly named
'The Jewel in the Crown'. Nationally renowned
for its floral displays, as featured in 'Gardener's World' and is
popular with local people and visitors alike.
Located in picturesque Churchtown, the park can be found by
following the brown signs from all major roads into
Southport.
The Gardens are host to a Spring and Late Summer flower show
ever year, there is a regular programme of brass bands every Sunday
afternoon and events which are puplicised
locally. For those who are seeking solitude, the
8 hectares of park also provides an oasis of calm close to the
vibrant resort of Southport.
Botanic Gardens has achieved a
coveted
Green Flag Award for
its excellence as a park.

Gardens. The park is open 7 days a week, every day of the
year.

Visit the Nursery Shop where surplus
quality plants are sold, including some new introductions as
featured on 'Gardener's World'. Why not buy your very own
piece of Botanic Gardens to take home with you, you are assured of

As well as enjoying the hosts of
flowers, lake and arboretum, there is a wealth of facilities on
site. These include:

The park is
staffed every day, except Christmas day, by Sefton Security.
Gardeners and nursery staff are on hand in the shop for any floral
questions.
