Summer Walks 2008

Summer walks

Following the success of earlier walks, two more guided walks were held during the summer.

The first walk took place on Thursday 24th July along the Sefton Coast.  The weather was just perfect for the early evening stroll which took in breath taking views of the coast and was a great opportunity to meet fellow strollers. The walk proved to be really popular with over 90 people taking part, many of whom commented that they were unaware that Sefton had such places of natural beauty.

Summer Walks
The second walk took place on Thursday 14th August.  Again the weather was good and over 80 people participated. The walk followed the popular 'Lydiate Loop' route, which takes in rural paths around Lydiate and sections of the Leeds Liverpool Canal.

For more information on these routes and others in Sefton or to register an interest in any future walks, please contact the Rights of Way Team.
