Call for Housing Sites
Sefton, Knowsley and West Lancashire Councils
Do you own or know of any land / buildings that could be
suitable for new housing?
Sefton, Knowsley and West Lancashire Councils
are updating their housing land studies, and are asking for sites
to be submitted for consideration.
To submit a site, please complete the ‘Call for Sites’ form and
send this to the relevant Council (contact details are listed on
the form). You will also need to provide a clear site plan.
The deadline for submitting a site is Thursday
15 December 2011.
Please Note
This is not the same as a planning application. Sites will be
assessed for their suitability for housing, and a site assessment
form will be produced (view a form example)

However, a full planning permission would still be required before
development could take place.
In addition, the submission of a site does not
guarantee that the Council will support its development in the
future. All sites will be assessed against planning policies and
other considerations.
