Active Workforce - Committed to the Health and Wellbeing of our Employees

Are you entitled to join Active Workforce?

The scheme is a health and wellness prorgamme for the employees of Sefton Council, NHS Sefton, One Vision Housing, New Directions, Sefton CVS, Aintree University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust; Shop Direct Financial Services Limited, Arvato, Capita Symonds and Autisim Initiatives. The programme gives these people the opportunity to sign up for the free taster sessions, health assesments, weight management courses and health hints and tips. Also with the option to join Sefton's fantasic leisure centres for a heavily subsidised price of £19 for a full platinum membership.

To take advantage of all the benefits Active Workforce has to offer simply complete the Active Workforce questionnaire and press the submit button! It really is that simple so go ahead and make that change today! Please ensure you complete your email address clearly as once we receive your completed questionnaire a member of the team will be in touch to inform you of 'what happens next?'

 

As soon as we recieve your registration and indications of where your interests lie you will be added to our database and automatically recieve updates/offers and our e-newsletter.

Activity Timetable

Now the weather has improved and the days are getting longer there are no excuses. We have put together a timetable of activities for you to get involved in for the next few months. Please use the Activity Timetable 2010 (254kb) for further details.

 

Softball at Litherland Sports Park

The Active Workforce Softball League is available for all employees to enter as a team or an individual.

 

Sessions will run from Tuesday 25th May -  Tuesday 20th July at Litherland Sports Park, 5:30pm - 7:30pm.

Walking and Cycling

This FREE walking and cycling guide is designed to help you and your family get the most out of the beautiful countryside in Sefton, both enhance your lifestyle and improve your fitness levels. All of the trails are clearly waymarked and are suitable for all ages and all abilities.
 
Active Sefton’s Health Walk Programme 'Every Step Counts' provides local organized walks throughout Sefton, which are volunteer led and follow a variety of different routes including woodland trails, coastal paths, canal towpaths and local parks.
