Leisure Passport
The Leisure Passport entitles you to;
discounted admission and usage charges on a range of
activities and services offered by Sefton Council across the
Borough.
Do you qualify?
You are eligible for a Leisure Passport if you live in the
Borough of Sefton and if you are in receipt of any of the
following:
- Income Support
- State Pension
- Jobseekers Allowance
- Incapacity Benefit
- Housing Benefit
- Council Tax Benefit
- Carers Allowance
- Working Tax Credit
- Attendance Allowance
- Disability Living Allowance
What is available?
Leisure Centres
A range of activities such as swimming, keep fit classes,
Fitness Suite Sessions and facility memberships are available
at discounts up to 50%. Leisure Passports may be used
throughout the opening hours of the facilities. For further
information simply contact your local leisure centre to enquire
about sessions and activities available.
Libraries
A 50% discount is available on all
Multi Media Hire including Playstation Games,
Music CD’s, Videos and DVD’s. For further information about
the location and range of Multi Media available simply contact your
local Library.
Golf
Leisure Passport holders can use Southport Golf Links as
follows:
Monday - Friday
(Not available Weekends or Bank Holidays) £7.50
April 1st - September 30th 9am - 12noon
October 1st - March 31st 9am - 12noon and 2pm - 4pm

Crown and Flat Green Bowls
Your local Bowling Club will provide details of the price and
times of any sessions offered to Leisure Passport holders.
How to apply?
The following facilities will accept your completed
application form, and will process your application:
- Bootle Leisure Centre, Washington Parade, Bootle
- Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre, Crosby Coastal Park, Off
Cambridge Road, Waterloo
- Dunes Splash World, The Esplanade, Southport
- Litherland Sports Park, Boundary Road, Litherland
- Meadows Leisure Centre and Library, Hall Lane,
Maghull
- Netherton Activity Centre, Glovers Lane, Netherton
- Crosby Leisure Centre, Mariners Road, Crosby
- Sefton
Libraries
You will need the following to accompany your
application:
Proof of Residence:
A recent Utility Bill or Council Tax Bill in your name at your
address.
Proof of Eligibility:
Notifications Letter, Order Book or Agency Stamp as detailed
on the application form.
A Passport Photograph:
To be attached to you passport
Terms and Conditions
Passports will be issued for a 12 month period, after
which proof of continuing eligibility must be presented, at which
time the passport will be renewed, except for Senior Citizens and
Registered Disabled Persons.
No holder of the Passport will be granted admission without
first presenting the Passport to the appropriate reception
desk.
The Passport must be surrendered for amendment if you, or
anyone on it, is no longer eligible to use it, or if your
circumstances change in any way.
Misuse of the Passport or the facilities will result in
forfeiture of the Passport.
The Council reserves the right to amend the scheme as and when
required. Revisions may include, amongst other things,
changes to the discounts available and qualification
criteria.

provided on this form to prevent and detect fraud. We may
also share this information, for the same purposes, with other
organisations which handle public funds.
