Youth fund schemes
Are you 13-19
years old and interested in developing new activities and improving
facilities in your area?
The Youth Opportunities Fund (YOF) and Youth Capital Fund (YCF)
are Government funds for young people’s projects
where decisions on how the money is spent must involve young
people.
In Sefton, this money is distributed by a panel of young people,
including members of Sefton YouthBank and United Kingdom Youth
Parliament (UKYP). Both projects operate across the borough and are
youth led with support from experienced youth workers. YouthBank
members are experienced grant makers and the UKYP members have been
elected by young people of Sefton to represent them on a local,
regional and national level.
