Sefton village partnerships
The Sefton Business Village Partnership (BVP) programme aims
to improve local areas through private-public partnerships.
Each BVP has a Manager and a Partnership Board made up of local
stakeholders from local businesses, the public sector, the
voluntary sector and the local community.
The activities undertaken by BVPs vary from area to area, but
generally they fit into one of the following headings:
- Marketing
- Environment
- Crime and Safety
- Economic Regeneration
Each Business Village Partnership has a Constitution which
sets out the size and membership of the decision making
Board. The Board is elected from the wider membership of the
Partnership. Some of the Partnerships also have Working
Groups to develop and manage projects. The following areas
have Business Partnerships:
Birkdale and Formby have had Business Village Partnerships in
the past, but these are not active at present.

restrictions. These Agencies include:
As well as general associations,
there are sectoral groups addressing the needs of companies in Port
Related Activities or the Information and Communication Technology
sector etc.
