Children and family care
Children's Services aims to provide
services to promote and safeguard the welfare of children.
The services they receive should
provide adequately for their needs for security, safety, health and
development, thereby equipping them to fulfil their potential as
healthy and secure adults in our society.
To further this aim there is a
corporate agreement that all children identified as being 'in need'
will be prioritised by all agencies.
